- In a bowl, beat together cream cheese, egg yolk, 1/2 cup of sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crescent rolls in the baking dish.
- Top with the second layer of crescent rolls.
- In a small bowl, whip the egg white until frothy and brush it over the top layer of crescent rolls.
- In a bowl, mix together 1/3 cup of sugar, cinnamon, and chopped walnuts.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon walnut mixture evenly over the egg white brushed surface.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown.
