Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground lean beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • salt
  • water

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, place all ingredients with just enough water to cover.
  2. Bring to a boil; immediately reduce to simmer.
  3. Continue to cook until all redness is gone, using a fork to separate meat.
  4. Drain.
