Ingredients

  • 1 sirloin steak, 2 inches thick
  • 2 tsp. ground pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 4 Tbsp. Crisco oil

Instructions

  1. Cut all fat from the sirloin steak.
  2. Season the steak on both sides with ground pepper, garlic powder, salt, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Heat Crisco oil in a skillet until hot.
  4. Place the steak into the hot oil and brown on both sides.
  5. Cook until the steak is well done.
