Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. chopped dates
  • 3 c. Rice Krispies

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in an iron frying pan.
  2. Beat eggs and add sugar and salt; then add to the butter.
  3. Cook slowly until melted.
  4. Add chopped dates and cook for about 20 minutes.
  5. Pour over Rice Krispies and stir to mix.
  6. Cool the mixture.
  7. Roll into small balls and roll in fine coconut.
