Ingredients

  • 5 boneless veal cutlets (4 oz. each)
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 pkg. Spatini spaghetti sauce
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 1 small can sliced mushrooms
  • 1/3 cup sherry
  • 1 jar whole onions, drained
  • 1 can peas and carrots, drained

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine in a large skillet and brown the veal cutlets.
  2. Cut the browned veal into 1-inch squares and season with salt.
  3. Stir in the stewed tomatoes, Spatini spaghetti sauce, and sherry.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Add the drained onions, sliced mushrooms, and their liquid, along with the drained peas and carrots.
  6. Cover and simmer for an additional 10 minutes before serving.
