Ingredients

  • 1 slice ham (approximately 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick)
  • 1 cup maple syrup or brown corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 5 or 6 whole cloves
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • 3 slices pineapple

Instructions

  1. Place the ham in an 8 x 8-inch casserole dish.
  2. Insert whole cloves into the ham.
  3. Mix together maple syrup or brown corn syrup, vinegar, pineapple juice, and cinnamon until well combined.
  4. Pour the syrup mixture over the ham.
  5. Decorate the ham with pineapple slices.
  6. Bake in a preheated 350°F (175°C) oven for 1 hour.
