Ingredients

  • 1 cup soft bread crumbs
  • 1 slightly beaten egg
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion or 1/4 cup fresh chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package brown gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup canned tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Combine bread crumbs, beaten egg, water, minced or chopped onion, garlic salt, seasoned salt, salt, and brown gravy mix in a bowl.
  2. Add the ground beef to the mixture and mix thoroughly until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into a ring shape in a shallow baking dish.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour or until the ring is well browned.
  5. Slide the ring onto a serving platter and fill the center with cooked rice.
  6. Serve with gravy.
