Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb frozen chopped rhubarb or berries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a deep baking dish, sprinkle the cup of sugar over the frozen rhubarb or berries and stir to coat all the fruit.
  2. Mix the flour, baking powder, remaining sugar, and salt in a bowl, then add the melted butter and stir until crumbly.
  3. Pour the topping mixture over the fruit in the baking dish and spread evenly on top.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.
  5. Serve hot, topped with cream.
