Ingredients

  • raisins
  • prunes
  • large tapioca
  • canned or fresh fruit (apricots, raspberries, cherries, strawberries)
  • fruit juice
  • 1 lemon
  • cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook raisins, prunes, and large tapioca in a little more water than usual until well cooked.
  2. Add canned or fresh fruits and juices of your choice.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil again, then add a few thin slices of lemon.
  4. Boil for 1 to 2 minutes.
  5. Serve warm or cold, as a dessert or soothing dish.
