Ingredients

  • 2 c. sour milk
  • 2 c. graham flour
  • 1 c. white flour
  • 1 good tsp. baking soda (equals 2 level tsp.)
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. molasses
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. raisins (optional)

Instructions

  1. Do not sift graham flour.
  2. Mix everything together.
  3. Old recipe says let stand 1 hour and bake for 1 hour in moderate oven. May be baked at once for 3/4 hour at 375°.
