Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 6 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar, cocoa, and flour together.
  2. Melt the butter and add it to the dry mixture.
  3. Add a slightly beaten egg, vanilla, and chopped nuts to the mixture.
  4. Pour the batter into an 8-inch greased pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes, until it springs back when lightly touched in the center.
