Ingredients

  • 1 large bunch fresh broccoli
  • 2 cups diced carrots
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup toasted bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Cook the broccoli for 5 minutes.
  2. Drain the broccoli.
  3. Cook the carrots for 10 minutes.
  4. Drain the carrots.
  5. In a buttered 2-quart casserole, arrange a layer of half the broccoli, then a layer of half the carrots. Repeat.
  6. Cover the vegetables with the undiluted mushroom soup.
  7. Top with grated Cheddar cheese and toasted bread crumbs.
  8. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
