Ingredients

  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 can hot water
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine cold water and rice in a medium-sized pan.
  2. Bring to a rapid boil.
  3. Reduce heat; cover tightly.
  4. Cook rice on low heat for 14 minutes without lifting the lid.
  5. When rice is done, add the condensed cream of chicken soup, stirring into the rice 1/4 can at a time.
  6. Add 1/2 can hot water.
  7. Cook on low heat for 3 to 5 more minutes, then serve.
