Sourdough Oat Bread

- Grease 2 (9 x 5-inch) loaf pans.
- In a large bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water.
- Let stand 5 to 10 minutes or until foamy.
- Add oil and sourdough starter to the mixture.
- Add dry ingredients and mix well.
- On a lightly floured board, knead lightly for about 2 minutes.
- Place the dough into greased pans and let rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk, about 1 1/2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Bake the loaves for 20 minutes.
- Cover pans with foil and bake for another 15 minutes or until the loaf sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
