Ingredients

  • 2 c. canned corn
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. flour or cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Combine the beaten eggs, canned corn, melted butter, and milk in a mixing bowl.
  2. Stir well to blend all ingredients thoroughly.
  3. Add sugar, salt, and pepper to taste, and mix again.
  4. Pour the mixture into a well buttered casserole dish.
  5. Dot the top with small pieces of butter.
  6. Bake in a very slow oven (250°F) for about 40 minutes or until the custard has set.
