Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 large onion
  • 1/4 cup uncooked rice
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 cups tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder

Instructions

  1. Brown the onion and bell pepper in butter; remove from the pan.
  2. Brown the ground beef until no redness remains.
  3. Add the cooked vegetables, uncooked rice, tomatoes, salt, black pepper, and chili powder to the beef.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased dish and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
