Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup margarine
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup Fruit Sweet
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 cups blackberries or other fruit
  • 1/4 cup Fruit Sweet

Instructions

  1. In a 9 x 9-inch pan, melt the margarine.
  2. Set aside the melted margarine.
  3. Combine flour and baking powder in a small bowl.
  4. Add Fruit Sweet and water to the flour mixture.
  5. Mix well until smooth.
  6. Pour the batter over the melted margarine in the pan.
  7. In a separate bowl, combine fruit, Fruit Sweet, and flavoring.
  8. Blend the fruit mixture together.
  9. Pour the fruit mixture over the batter in the pan.
  10. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.
