Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat the eggs.
  2. Add milk, salt, and mix well.
  3. Gradually add sifted flour and stir until smooth.
  4. Bring a 5-quart pot of water to a boil.
  5. Use a spoon or a sharp knife to cut small spaetzles into the boiling water.
  6. Cook for about 10 minutes until they float to the surface.
  7. Drain the spaetzles and add butter or oleo before serving.
