Ingredients

  • 3 c. shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/3 c. vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 4 tsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. diced pimientos
  • 1 tsp. grated onion
  • 1 tsp. celery salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine shredded cabbage and chopped green pepper.
  2. In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine vinegar, vegetable oil, sugar, diced pimientos, grated onion, celery salt, ground mustard, salt, and pepper; shake well.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture just before serving.
  4. Toss to coat evenly and serve with a slotted spoon.
