Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. chili pepper
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 4 cups chopped tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet and add diced onions and chopped green peppers.
  2. Cook until the vegetables are soft.
  3. Add ground beef, salt, black pepper, and chili pepper to the skillet.
  4. Cook until the beef is browned.
  5. Add chopped tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, and sugar to the mixture.
  6. Cook together for 15 minutes on medium heat.
  7. Meanwhile, break spaghetti into pieces and cook according to package instructions, avoiding overcooking.
  8. Drain the cooked spaghetti and add it to the sauce mixture.
  9. Transfer everything into a casserole dish.
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes.
