Ingredients

  • 2 qt. orange juice, chilled
  • 1/2 c. lemon juice
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
  • 1 qt. vanilla ice cream
  • 1 qt. ginger ale, chilled

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, measure 3 cups of the orange juice, the lemon juice, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves.
  2. Blend with a beater until well combined.
  3. Stir in the remaining orange juice.
  4. Cover and refrigerate the mixture.
  5. Just before serving, pour the eggnog mixture into a punch bowl.
  6. Spoon the vanilla ice cream into the bowl.
  7. Add the chilled ginger ale.
  8. Blend with a beater until smooth.
  9. Sprinkle with nutmeg before serving.
