Ingredients

  • 2 packages frozen broccoli, cut up
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 3/4 stick butter
  • 2 cups Ritz crackers
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup water chestnuts, sliced

Instructions

  1. Mix butter with the cooked broccoli in a greased casserole dish.
  2. Blend sour cream, mayonnaise, and finely chopped onion to make the sauce.
  3. Put the broccoli in the casserole and top with a layer of the sauce, shredded Cheddar cheese, and sliced water chestnuts.
  4. Sprinkle crushed Ritz crackers over the top.
  5. Bake in a 375°F oven for 35 to 40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
