Ingredients

  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • 1 can water chestnuts, sliced thin
  • 1 can mushrooms, stems and pieces
  • 1 can onion soup
  • 1/2 stick melted butter

Instructions

  1. Add the juices from the water chestnuts and mushrooms to water to make 1 cup of liquid.
  2. Combine the rice, sliced water chestnuts, mushroom pieces, onion soup, and melted butter in a casserole dish.
  3. Cover tightly with a lid or foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
