Ingredients

  • 1 large can pork and beans
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 slices bacon
  • 1/4 onion, chopped
  • 1/4 bell pepper, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine pork and beans, sugar, ketchup, mayonnaise, salt, chopped onion, and chopped bell pepper. Mix well.
  3. Cook bacon slices until crispy, then crumble or chop into pieces.
  4. Add bacon to the bean mixture and stir to combine.
  5. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake uncovered for 45 to 60 minutes, until heated through and bubbly.
