Ingredients

  • 6 potatoes
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried chives
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
  2. Slice the potatoes, not all the way through, slightly separating each.
  3. Melt the margarine in a microwave-safe dish.
  4. Add seasoned salt, garlic powder, dried chives, and pepper to the melted margarine.
  5. Pour the seasoned butter over the prepared potatoes in the microwave dish.
  6. Cover the dish with waxed paper or plastic wrap.
  7. Microwave on high for 8 to 10 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
  8. Spoon the seasoned butter over the potatoes when serving.
