Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/3 c. orange juice
  • 1 (16 oz.) can pitted tart red cherries
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • dash of ground cloves

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine half of the sugar, the cornstarch, and a dash of salt; stir in orange juice and lemon juice.
  2. Stir in undrained cherries, cinnamon, and cloves.
  3. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly.
  4. Stir in the remaining sugar.
  5. Cook and stir for 1 to 2 minutes more.
  6. Serve warm with ham or pork.
