Spicy Fried Ginger Beef
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean beef, top round or 1 lb sirloin, sliced and cut into 1/2 by 2 inch strips
- 3 tablespoons peanut oil ⓘ
- 4 medium garlic cloves, thinly sliced ⓘ
- 4 green serrano chilies, seeded and slivered ⓘ
- 3 green onions, cut diagonally into 1/2 inch pieces ⓘ
- 1 fresh ginger, 2 inch piece o julienned ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon lime juice ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon sugar ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon fresh coriander ⓘ
Instructions
- Pat meat dry, Heat oil in wok over medium high heat.
- Add garlic and stirfry until lightly golden.
- Add chilis and stirfry green onion and ginger for 1 minute.
- Add beef and stirfry just until browned, 1 minute.
- Blend in fish sauce, lime juice and sugar,.
- Sprinkle with coriander and serve immediately.
