Ingredients

  • 2 (10 oz.) packages chopped frozen spinach
  • 4 slices bread
  • 1/2 lb. sharp grated cheese
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook and drain chopped spinach.
  2. Put 2 slices of bread in the bottom of a buttered loaf pan.
  3. Layer spinach and cheese over the bread.
  4. Repeat layers, ending with cheese on top.
  5. Beat eggs; add milk, dry mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour the mixture over the layered bread, spinach, and cheese.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
