Ingredients

  • 1 large box strawberry jello
  • 20 oz crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the crushed pineapple and strawberry jello until the jello is dissolved, but do not boil.
  2. Let the mixture cool completely.
  3. Mix in the buttermilk and chopped pecans.
  4. Fold in whipped topping.
  5. Pour the mixture into a large bowl and chill until firm.
