Ingredients

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together powdered sugar, softened butter, vanilla, and egg yolks until light and fluffy.
  3. Stir in flour and salt; blend well.
  4. Fill a cookie press with the dough; press dough into desired shapes onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  5. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes, or until lightly browned on edges.
  6. Immediately remove cookies from sheets and cool.
