Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 to 3 lb. boneless sirloin or top round steak
  • 3 Tbsp. soft butter
  • 2 large cloves garlic
  • 4 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp. coarse ground pepper
  • 1 cup coarse bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Wipe steak dry.
  2. Combine butter, garlic, oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread butter mixture on both sides of the steak.
  4. Press crumbs firmly onto both sides of the steak.
  5. Place the steak in a brown grocery-type bag.
  6. Close the bag with paper clips and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake at 375°F for 45 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes.
  9. Slide the steak onto a carving board.
  10. Carve into 1/4-inch diagonal slices to serve.
