Ingredients

  • 24 oz beef gravy
  • 6 to 8 medium potatoes
  • 3 medium round steaks
  • 1 cup sliced onions
  • 1 cup flour

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet.
  3. Poke each steak all over with a fork on both sides.
  4. Combine 1 cup of flour, seasoned salt, pepper, and salt to make a seasoned flour mixture.
  5. Dip each steak into the flour mixture, then place in hot oil.
  6. Fry the steaks until brown on each side.
  7. Pour a thin layer of beef gravy into the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  8. Add the fried steaks on top of the gravy.
  9. Slice potatoes into wedges and arrange over the meat.
  10. Pour the remaining gravy over the potatoes.
  11. Add water if necessary to almost cover the potatoes with gravy.
  12. Cover the pan with foil and bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
