- Blend together ground round steak, eggs, bread crumbs, salt, garlic salt, cayenne, and half of the tomato sauce with onions.
- Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Pat the meat mixture into a 16 x 10-inch rectangle on wax paper or aluminum foil.
- Layer the thinly sliced Italian dry salami, shredded mozzarella cheese, and sliced green olives on the meat rectangle.
- Roll up the meat rectangle tightly to form a log.
- Place the rolled beef log in a baking dish and cover with the remaining tomato sauce with onions.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 45 minutes, or until cooked through and browned.
- Slice and serve hot, garnished as desired.
