Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb chuck steak
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 3 medium carrots
  • 3 medium potatoes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Place a 24 x 18-inch piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil in a baking pan.
  3. Place the chuck steak on the foil.
  4. Mix the condensed cream of mushroom soup with the dry onion soup mix and spread evenly over the steak.
  5. Top the steak with diced celery, quartered carrots, and quartered potatoes.
  6. Sprinkle water over the vegetables.
  7. Fold the foil over the ingredients and seal securely.
  8. Bake for 1 1/2 hours until the steak and vegetables are tender.
