Instructions
- Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a wok or vegetable steamer.
- Place a retainer ring or colander over the boiling water to keep the vegetables above the water level.
- Add the prepared vegetables to the steamer and cover.
- Steam for approximately 20 minutes, or until the carrots are tender.
- Remove the vegetables from the steamer.
- Add salt and melted cheese, if desired, before serving.
