Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups ground ham
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped celery
  • 5 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 8 slices bread, crusts removed
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 can Cheddar soup
  • 1/2 can milk

Instructions

  1. Combine ground ham, chopped celery, and mayonnaise in a bowl.
  2. Mix well to incorporate all ingredients.
  3. Brush one side of each bread slice with melted butter.
  4. Spread the ham mixture evenly over the buttered side of the bread slices.
  5. Roll up each slice as for a jelly roll.
  6. Secure each roll with toothpicks.
  7. Arrange the rolls on cookie sheets.
  8. Brush the tops of the rolls with the remaining melted butter.
  9. Bake in a 425°F oven for 12 minutes until golden.
  10. Meanwhile, mix the Cheddar soup and milk in a saucepan.
  11. Heat the soup mixture until warm.
  12. Serve the baked ham roll-ups with the warm soup.
