Instructions
- Slice apples and arrange them in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Add 2 tablespoons of water over the apples.
- Mix sugar, flour, butter, salt, cinnamon, and oats into a crumbly mixture.
- Pour the crumb mixture evenly over the apples.
- Poke some of the crumbs down around the apples.
- Bake at 350°F for approximately 1 hour, until apples are soft.
- Serve warm, optionally topped with ice cream.
