Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1 1/4 sticks margarine
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Combine crushed pretzels, margarine, and sugar.
  2. Pat the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes at 350°F.
  4. Allow the crust to cool.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  6. Fold in Cool Whip and spread over the cooled crust.
  7. Dissolve Jell-O in 2 cups boiling water.
  8. Add frozen strawberries to the Jell-O mixture.
  9. Carefully pour the strawberry Jell-O over the cream cheese layer.
  10. Refrigerate until the dessert is firm.
  11. Top with a dab of Cool Whip before serving if desired.
