Ingredients

  • 16 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 3 oz. instant vanilla pudding (2 packets)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 8 cups mashed strawberries
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 loaves pound cake
  • 8 oz. Cool Whip topping

Instructions

  1. Beat cream cheese, pudding mixes, sugar, and milk in a large bowl until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, mix strawberries, vanilla, and sugar well.
  3. Reserve 1 cup of the strawberry mixture.
  4. Slice the pound cake into 1/2-inch slices.
  5. Line the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan with a layer of pound cake slices.
  6. Spread 1/3 of the cream cheese mixture over the cake layer.
  7. Add 1/3 of the strawberry mixture on top.
  8. Repeat the layering process two more times, ending with the strawberry mixture on top.
  9. Top with Cool Whip topping.
  10. Refrigerate until served.
  11. Serve each portion topped with a teaspoon of the reserved pureed strawberries.
