Tips & Substitutions

To enhance the flavor, consider adding a splash of lemon juice to the jello mixture. If you prefer a different fruit flavor, you can substitute the strawberry jello with raspberry or cherry jello. For an added crunch, mix in chopped nuts or coconut flakes. Make sure to let the salad set completely before serving, as this ensures a firmer texture, perfect for summer gatherings.

Serving Suggestions

Serve this colorful salad as a refreshing dessert or a side dish at picnics and barbecues. It pairs beautifully with dishes like grilled chicken or can be a delightful end to a summer meal. Consider adding a dollop of whipped cream on top for extra indulgence, or serve alongside the One Step Cheesecake for a delightful dessert spread.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. The flavors will continue to meld, making it taste even better on the second day. If the jello starts to separate, gently stir before serving. Avoid freezing as the texture may change once thawed.
