Stuffed Pork Roast

- Mix diced onion, minced garlic, parsley flakes, basil (if using), salt, and black pepper to create the seasoning.
- Wash the pork roast and cut several 2-inch slits at an angle into the meat, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- Stuff as much seasoning as possible into each slit.
- Pour the remaining seasoning mixture over the roast.
- Place the roast in a roasting pan.
- Add 1 cup of water to the pan.
- Cover and bake at 375°F for 1 hour.
- Combine cream of chicken soup with the gravy mix dissolved in 1/2 cup cold water, then add to the roasting pan.
- Stir the gravy mixture every 5 minutes until well blended.
- Continue baking for another 30 minutes to 1 hour until the roast is thoroughly cooked and tender.
