Ingredients

  • 2 small acorn squash
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped cooking apples
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Cut the acorn squash in half and remove the seeds.
  2. Place the squash halves, cut side down, in a shallow baking dish.
  3. Bake in a 350°F oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until almost tender.
