Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 glass water
  • 1/2 lb. ground pork
  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes until tender.
  2. Fry the chopped onion in margarine until translucent.
  3. Add ground beef and ground pork to the onions and fry until cooked through.
  4. Mash the boiled potatoes and add to the meat mixture.
  5. If the mixture is too thick, add water to loosen it.
  6. Add cinnamon and cloves, then stir and simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
  7. Hollow out the pumpkin and stuff it with the meat and potato mixture.
  8. Place the stuffed pumpkin in an oven-safe dish and bake at 350°F until the pumpkin is brown and tender.
