Ham Quiche Lorraine

- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Sprinkle crumbled bacon and diced sautéed onion on the bottom of the pastry shell.
- Add half of the shredded ham, then four slices of Swiss cheese.
- Add the remaining ham and top with the remaining cheese.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with the dry mustard.
- Gradually add the heated light cream and beat until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture over the ham and cheese in the crust.
- Let stand for 10 minutes to allow the custard to set.
- Sprinkle with a pinch of nutmeg on top.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 35 minutes until the custard is set and golden.
