Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups butter or margarine
  • 4 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Cream the brown sugar, white sugar, eggs, and butter until well combined.
  2. Add vanilla extract and dry ingredients; mix thoroughly.
  3. Drop teaspoonfuls of dough onto a cookie sheet.
  4. Flatten each cookie with a spatula dipped in water.
  5. Sprinkle with white sugar and cinnamon.
