Ingredients

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 Tbsp. cold water
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 lb. pecan halves

Instructions

  1. Beat lightly the egg white and cold water.
  2. Mix together brown sugar, sugar, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
  3. Turn pecan halves in egg white mixture.
  4. Then turn in sugar mixture.
  5. Spread on ungreased cookie sheet in a single layer.
  6. Bake at 250°F for 50 minutes.
  7. Remove from cookie sheet and cool on wax paper in a single layer.
  8. Freeze well; makes wonderful Christmas gifts for friends.
