Ingredients

  • 2-3 summer squash, sliced
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 pieces American cheese

Instructions

  1. Place sliced summer squash, salt, pepper, and butter in a microwave-safe dish.
  2. Microwave on high for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from microwave and place American cheese slices on top of the cooked squash.
  4. Allow the cheese to melt before serving.
