Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • Butter or margarine
  • Cool Whip or ice cream

Instructions

  1. Beat egg whites until stiff.
  2. Gradually add sugar while continuing to beat.
  3. Fold in baking powder, chopped pecans, graham cracker crumbs, and vanilla.
  4. Pour the mixture into a buttered pie pan.
  5. Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 30 minutes.
  6. Serve with Cool Whip or ice cream.
