- Remove the pulp from the orange halves.
- Beat the drained yams until smooth.
- Beat in the orange juice, brown sugar, and 3 tablespoons of melted butter.
- Spoon the yam mixture into the orange shells.
- Brush the edges of the oranges with the remaining melted butter.
- Bake at 350°F for 20 to 30 minutes until heated through.
