Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 pound fresh bay scallops
  • 1/3 cup fine soft breadcrumbs
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons dry sherry
  • lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Pour 2 tablespoons of melted butter into a shallow baking pan and arrange scallops in a single layer.
  2. Combine breadcrumbs, garlic salt, dry mustard, paprika, and remaining melted butter; sprinkle over scallops.
  3. Broil 4 inches from heat until lightly browned, about 6 to 8 minutes.
